METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF YOUTHFUL EPIPHYSEOLYSIS OF THE HEAD OF FEMUR

The method for the surgical treatment of the youthful epiphyseolysis of the head of femur consists in performing the spherical osteotomy of the basal part in the neck of femur, correction and fixation the bone fragments. The intertrochanteric crest is cut with the attached muscles. The osteotomy of the basal part in the neck of femur is performed in such a way that the convexity is directed medially in the frontal and transverse planes. The proximal fragment of femur is turned to the distance corresponding the displacement of the epiphysis relative to the neck of femur. The displacement is performed in frontal, sagittal, and transverse planes. The growth area is set to the advantageous position. The intertrochanteric crest is fixed on the lateral surface of the proximal part of femur with the required tension of the attached muscles.
