The method for production of rods of many-sided cross section on the double-faced rotary swaging machine includes reduction in the dies having throats and calibration areas, and feed of the blank. At each single reduction in turn, along the helix, during passage through calibration areas of dies a pair of oppositely located faces of rod is formed obtaining during one pass the many-sided cross section throughout its entire length.
