METHOD FOR ORTHOTOPIC NEOCYSTOPLASTY UPON CYSTECTOMY IN WOMEN

The method for the orthotopic neocystoplasty upon cystectomy in women provides for tailoring the spherical reservoir from the own hollow organ of the patient. The reservoir is then anastomosed with the stumps of the ureters and the urethra. The own patient's vagina is use with this aim. The vagina is mobilized and sewed along the posterior surface from the vestibule to the level of urethra dissection. Then the vagina is dissected longitudinally along the anterior surface from the proximal edge to the urethra stump. The line of the cut is sutured transversally generating the detubulized spherical reservoir. The anterior wall of the reservoir is sewed to the periosteum of the pubic bone. The stump of the urethra is sewed into the additional hole in the nearest site of the anterior wall of the neocyst. The stumps of the ureters are sewed into the lateral walls.
