A multi-texture, ready-to-eat dessert which maintains the texture ofeach component through extended storage is provided. To preserve thetexture of each component, the soluble solid ratio between components ofmulti-texture, ready-to-eat desserts are matched. The soluble solids ratio isdefined as 100 times the total weight of soluble solids in the layer, dividedbythe sum of the weight of water and weight of soluble solids in that layer.
