METHOD FOR PROCESSING AN XML-STRUCTURED DOCUMENT WHICH IS ABLE TO BE STORED IN A DATA FILE

The invention relates to a method for processing a XML-structured document which is able to be stored in a data file (A.xml). Said document comprises at least one main XML-element (0) and at least one sub XML-element (1a, 2a, 3a; 1b, 2b, 3b), which is subordinate to said main -XML-element (0), which are respectively provided with a beginning and an end identifier (S0, E0, S1a, E1a, ...). In order to simplify processing, the following procedural steps are performed; locating the respective beginning and the respective end identifiers (S0, E0, ...) of the XML-elements (0, 1a, 2a, ...), selecting a hierarchical structure from the beginning and the end identifiers of the XML-elements, generating XML-data files (A_0.xml, 0_1.xml, ...) based on the hierarchical structure, whereby at least one XML-data file comprising at least one link to an additional XML-data file is provided, said data file comprising at least one subordinate XML-element.
