This invention relates to a putter, comprising a club shaft (2) and a putter head (1) which comprises a first portion (3) with a hitting face (7) and a rod formed portion (4) which extends rearwardly essentially perpendicularly in relation to the hitting surface (7), wherein the shaft (2) is attached at a distance from a rearward end (20) of said rod formed portion (4).
