A low cost rolling bearing having a superior low-noise capability, a corrosion resistance, and a long-life, a material for rolling bearing, and equipment having a rotating part using the rolling bearing, the rolling bearing comprising a plurality of rolling elements (3) installed between an inner ring (2) and an outer ring (1), wherein at least one of the inner ring (2) and the outer ring (1) is made of a corrosion resistant bearing steel with a specified chemical composition, the averaged value of the circle-equivalent diameter of eutectic carbide contained in the corrosion resistant bearing steel is 0.2 to 1.6 μm, the averaged area of the eutectic carbide is 0.03 to 2μm2, the area ratio of the eutectic carbide is 2 to 7%, the hardness of the corrosion resistant bearing steel is HRC58 to 62, and the amount of retained austenite in the corrosion resistant bearing steel is 6 vol.% or below.
