The invention concerns the genomic sequence and nucleotide sequences coding for polypeptides of Photorhabdus luminescens, such as polypeptides involved in operons of biosynthesis of antibiotics, or of toxins, or polypeptides exhibiting a toxin or antibiotic type activity capable of being used as pesticide, bactericide or fungicide as well as vectors comprising said sequences and cells or animals transformed by said vectors.
