The method for representing a digitally stored 3D scene in a projection device comprising a first projection surface (20) and at least one second projection surface arranged at an angle to the first projection surface (22), consists of the following steps: a) the 3D scene is loaded into the working memory of a first computer (32) and into the working memory of a second computer (34); b) information which is inputted on an input device (38) can be interrogated with regard to a first point of view and a viewing direction using the first computer (32); c) the information with regard to the point of view and the first viewing direction (44) is transmitted to the second computer (34) and the first direction of viewing is transformed into a second direction of viewing (46); d) a confirmation signal is sent from the second computer (34) to the first computer (32); e) an image is calculated in the first computer (32), the image is represented on the first projection surface and an image is calculated in the second computer (34) according to the point of view and the second direction of viewing, said image being represented on the second projection surface.
