This invention relates to compositions and methods of producing sunflower plants, plant parts, and seeds that produce sunflower plants having resistance to races of Orobanche cumana in addition to races A-E. This invention also relates to the sunflower seed of lines resistant to Orobanche cumana represented by sunflower lines having any one of ATCC Accession numbers PTA-3791, PTA-3792, and PTA-3793.
