The fixing clip (8) consists of a body with two divergent sides (15) and a top plate (12) with a sealing member (19) and a U-shaped lug (17) at one end. At the opposite end it has an aperture (27) for a catch (29) that locks the clip in the bodywork hole and prevents any recoil. The catch can be on the end of a U-shaped plastic spring (25) inside the body of the clip, or it can be made as part of the top plate.
