PURPOSE: A security service system using a network and a method of the same are provided to warn automatically an invasion of a particular region, record an invasion process, and transmit the recorded contents to an user by using a timelapse method, a network, a mobile communication network, and an E-mail. CONSTITUTION: A security service system using a network includes a sensor block(100), a web camera(101), a monitoring system(102), a local communication unit(104), and a remote communication unit(108). The sensor block(100) is used for sensing an opening state of a door. The web camera(101) is used for photographing a predetermined position within a particular region in response to a selective control command. The monitoring system(102) stores motion pictures of the web camera(101) into a storage medium in response to an user's selective command and outputs the stored motion pictures according to a request of a remote place. The local communication unit(104) transmits a warning message to a predetermined E-mail address through a network, encodes the motion pictures by using a predetermined compression algorithm, and transmits the compressed motion pictures to the predetermined E-mail address. The remote communication unit(108) displays the warning message on a monitor and decodes the encoded motion pictures.
