PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing roughness deviation of galvanized strip is provided which not only reduces roughness deviation of the surface of work roll, but also prevents surface defects of the work roll by installing correction roll at an outer part of the work roll where friction with the strip is not generated, thereby generating fraction. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus is characterized in that a roughness measuring sensor(20a) for measuring roughness between widths of strip(1) is installed at sensor supporting beams(12), an emitting lamp(21) is installed at a central part of sensor support(11), two guide beams(19) are in parallel connected to an upper part of both of the sensor supporting beams(12) by bolts(10), lower guide block(22) and upper guide block(23) are connected to the guide beams(19) in such a way that the lower guide block(22) and upper guide block(23) are moved side to side from the guide beams(19), screw transfer block(24) is connected to an upper part of the upper guide block(23) by bolts(10), driving screw(15) is mounted on the screw transfer block(24), one side of the driving screw(15) is rotationally bridged over between the sensor supporting beams(12) with bearing being connected to the driving screw(15), other side of the driving screw(15) is mounted on the sensor supporting beam(12) in the state that driving pulley(14) is connected to the driving screw(15), and bearing is connected to the driving screw(15), sensor driving motor(13) is connected to driving motor pulley and screw pulley by driving belt(14) on an upper surface of the sensor supporting beam(12), supporting bar(16) is fixed to the uppermost part of the sensor supporting beams(12) in the state that the supporting bar(16) is bridged over between the sensor supporting beams(12), power track(17) through which power supply cable passes is installed at the supporting bar(16), touch sensors(18) are installed at an intermediate part of the sensor supporting beams(12), sensor supporting frames(25) are fixed to the front and rear sides of the lower guide block(22) by bolts(10), and sensor supporting bar(26) is fixed onto the sensor supporting frames(25).
