PURPOSE: A method for transmitting the packet by using the packet division in an automatic repeat reQuest(ARQ) type data communication and a method for combining an aggressive packet are provided to have a shorter processing time and more excellent system in comparison with a conventional aggressive packet combining method. CONSTITUTION: A method for transmitting the packet by using the packet division in an automatic repeat reQuest(ARQ) type data communication includes a first step of transmitting the logically divided packet to the receiving end after the data packet to be transmitted is divided and the divided packet is logically divided into a plurality of sub-packets; a second step of analyzing the response signal from the receiving end; a third step of transmitting the packet to the receiving end, wherein the packet is constructed with only the sub-packets having an error by extracting the information for the sub-packet from the NAK signal if the response signal is transmission fail signal(NAK) in the analyzing result of the second step; and a fourth step of transmitting a packet following to the packet transmitted at the first step, if the response signal is a transmission success signal(ACK) in the analyzing result of the second step.
