PURPOSE: A device and a method for certifying data stored in a DVR(Digital Voice Recorder) and preventing forgery/alteration of the same are provided to confirm the forgery/alteration when the data is stored in the DVR or transferred to a PC after storing the data in the DVR. CONSTITUTION: An audio signal is inputted from a microphone(201). The audio signal is converted into a digital signal, is stored in a digital voice storage(202), and is uploaded to the PC(205) through a data transmitter. A forgery/alteration preventing device(203) installed in the PC inserts a forgery/alteration preventing tool into the data. When a user discriminates the forgery/alteration of the stored data later, the forgery/alteration preventing device discriminates the forgery/alteration by using the inserted information. The audio data is stored in a data storage(204) such as the HDD in the PC.
