PURPOSE: A heat pipe type isothermal maintaining vessel and a heat pipe type isothermal maintaining apparatus are provided to maintain constant temperature by minimizing temperature difference between heating source and cooling source and to transfer much heat at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A base(30) attaches a block like a thermoelectric module on a lower surface to heat and cool. An outer shell(50) is installed to an upper surface of the base. A vessel is received to the outer shell, sealing an upper edge to seal actuating fluid. The vessel has a side wall(13) extended from a floor(11) to an upper part. A side wall wick(15) covers an outer peripheral surface of the side wall to form a gap(14) for an inner wall of the outer shell. Protruded wicks(17) are installed between lower and upper surfaces of the floor. A clearance(19) is formed on protruded wicks to communicate with the gap for an opposite side surface. Thereby, constant temperature is maintained between heating source and the cooling source and a lot of heat is transferred at the same time. Steam moves smoothly by arranging clearance radially.
