摘要

PURPOSE: A polymer nanocomposite membrane and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the cross-over causing the deterioration of the performance of a fuel cell, and to produce a polymer electrolyte fuel cell having a high electric power density. CONSTITUTION: The polymer nanocomposite for a fuel cell comprises a hydrogen ion-conductive polymer and a layered double hydroxide, wherein the layered double hydroxide is present in an amount of 0.3-10 wt% based on the dry weight of the hydrogen ion-conductive polymer. The method for manufacturing the polymer nanocomposite comprises the steps of: (a) forming solution containing a mixture of the layered double hydroxide and the hydrogen ion-conductive polymer; and (b) performing volatilization of the solvent in the solution to obtain the polymer nanocomposite.
