VACUUM PUMP HAVING DUAL CHECK VALVE OF ALTERNATOR

PURPOSE: A vacuum pump for a generator having a double-safety device for preventing a back current is provided to secure safety when a check valve doesn't perform the original function of the check valve by adding double check valve functions. CONSTITUTION: An alternator comprises a bracket comprising rear and front brackets, a stator, a shaft, a rotor, a pulley, a commutator, a brush assembly, a circuit board, a heat sink plate, and a vacuum pump. The vacuum pump comprises a pump housing plate fixed to the rear of the rear bracket, a pump housing assembled to the outside of the pump housing plate, a vane installed to the rear end of the shaft, and a check valve installed to the pump housing. In the vacuum pump for a generator having a double-safety device for preventing a back current, the check valve of the vacuum pump comprises a valve body having a bolt head; a plug-type valve coming in contact with a tapered surface; a return spring(936) elastically installed to the rear of the valve; a disk-type stopper(937) preventing separation of the return spring and having plural vent holes(938); and a disk-type valve(939) attached to the back of the stopper, to simultaneously open and shut the vent holes.
