PURPOSE: An LCD device and a fabrication method thereof are provided to electrically connect plural picture electrodes to each of plural active elements, and to distribute the picture electrodes not to be adjacent to each other while opposing color filters to the connected picture electrodes, thereby remarkably improving deterioration of picture quality. CONSTITUTION: Within a picture area B of a color display, plural picture electrodes(12a-12f) are electrically connected to plural active elements, respectively. The plural picture electrodes(12a-12f) connected to each active element are distributed not to adjacent to each other. Color filters(22R,23R,22G,24G,23B,24B) having the same color are opposed to the plural picture electrodes(12a-12f) connected to the same active elements.
