摘要

PURPOSE: A display panel and a fabrication method are provided to accumulate resin layers on an outer side of at least one of glass substrates, consequently a thin and light display panel can be realized without manufacturing restrictions. CONSTITUTION: An element substrate(1) and an opposed substrate(2) are in thickness of more than 0.15mm and less than 0.3mm, respectively. At least one of the substrates(1,2) is covered by resin layers(5) on an opposite side(outer side) thereof for a liquid crystal layer(3). The resin layers(5) are formed on outer sides of the substrates(1,2), respectively. A terminal is formed on an inner side of the element substrate(1). The terminal is connected to a source line or a gate line of the element substrate(1).
