PURPOSE: An in-building distribution repeater is provided to enhance speech quality by detecting a loss generated in a line and compensating the line loss. CONSTITUTION: A donor unit(211) receives a signal transmitted through free space, amplifies and outputs it, and generates and outputs a reference signal at a predetermined time. A remote unit(213) connected to the donor unit(211) through a line amplifies a signal outputted from the donor unit(211) and transmits it to a mobile terminal, detects a reference signal from an output of a distributor if the reference signal is generated from the donor unit(211), and compensates a loss generated from the line by controlling a gain in response to the reference signal.
