PURPOSE: A line matching apparatus board used for an ATM E3/T3 and T3 frame relay service is provided to reduce the cost for manufacturing and maintaining a system by realizing line matching circuit units in one board on which an FPGA unit and buffer units are disposed. CONSTITUTION: An E3/T3 line interface unit(10) and a broadband access multiplexer unit(20) consists of a dedicated chip having an ATM E3/T3 matching function, and another dedicated chip having a T3 frame relay matching function. A Tx/Rx buffer unit(30) receives a service mode selection signal from an FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)(80) for controlling buffer enable. A PLL(Phase Locked Loop) circuit part(40) receives a network clock from a front board(100) for generating necessary clocks by the corresponding service modes according to a clock selection signal of the FPGA(80). A power monitoring unit (50) monitors and controls the power supplied to the front board(100) for reporting to the FPGA(80). An LED(Light Emitting Diode) display unit(60) displays a state of a PBA(Printed Board Assembly) and a state of a physical layer matching port of a user or a network by collecting and analysing various signals of a board. A framer and serge protect circuit(70) takes charge of a user or network side physical layer matching function, and protects a system from serge. The FPGA(80) selects a service mode.
