AUTO-TILT OPTICAL UNIT FOR IRIS RECOGNITION SYSTEM ACCORDING TO HEIGHT OF USER, AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An auto-tilt optical unit for an iris recognition system and a method thereof are provided to perform iris recognition by automatically tilting an optical unit fit to a height of a user. CONSTITUTION: The optical unit(201) comprises an optical window(206), a cold mirror(207), and a camera(208). An auto-tile operator(202) automatically tilts the optical unit. A controller(203) makes a tilt angle of the auto-tilt operator fit to the height information of the user. After automatically tilting the auto-tilt operator, an iris image of the user is obtained. The iris recognition is tried by using the obtained iris image.
