PURPOSE: An automatically driving a slide phone, a method for automatically driving a slide phone, and a method for sensing an incoming signal of an automatically driving slide phone are provided to realize accurate opening and closing operations while automatically executing opening and closing operations. CONSTITUTION: The first case(100) and the second case(200) are installed to mount mobile communication components. A driving motor is mounted at the first case(100) or second case(200), mounting the first driving element. The second driving element is mounted at the first case(100) or the second case(200) corresponding to the case mounting the first driving element, contacting with the first driving element. A target(170) for sensing a position is mounted at the first case(100). A plurality of sensors(150,160) are mounted at the second case(200) for sensing a position of the target(170) for sensing a position, and are separated from each other as much as a moving distance of the first case(100). A driving control unit receives sensing signals of the sensors(150,160) for controlling the driving motor. The target(170) for sensing a position is sensed by the sensors(150,160) to accurately sense an opening position and a closing position of the first case(100).
