摘要

PURPOSE: Provided are an electronically driven wheelchair manipulation sensor installed on a cap worn on the head of a spinally disabled person who is not able to move his/her hands and a wheelchair controller employing the sensor to enable the spinally disabled person to manipulate the wheelchair conveniently and easily using the head motion without others' help. CONSTITUTION: The electronically driven wheelchair manipulation sensor(10) comprises: a hexahedral case(11) which has an hollow therein; a force sensitive resistor sensor(FSR)(12) which is attached to each of front, back, right and left sides of the case(11) and has resistance values varying according to a force applied thereto; a pressurizing unit(13) which is inserted into the hollow of the case(11) and pressurize the FSR sensor(12) according as the case(11) is inclined; and a wearing member(14) which is connected to an outer portion of the case(11) to allow the case(11) to be worn on the user's head.
