PURPOSE: A method of making chicken soup(samgyetang) by adding egg yolks containing estrogen to a chicken soup material containing raw ginseng, garlic, Zizyphi Fructus, onion or the like is provided. The product is effective in prevention of osteoporosis and suitably controlling cholesterol levels. CONSTITUTION: The chicken soup comprises 38% by weight of chicken meat, 4.5% by weight of egg yolks, 3.0% by weight of glutinous rice, 2.0% by weight of raw ginseng, 1.7% by weight of Puerariae Radix, 0.5% by weight of a chestnut, 0.3% by weight of Zizyphi Fructus and 50% by weight of seasoning liquid. The seasoning liquid contains 2.86% by weight of onion, 1.00% by weight of garlic, 0.80% by weight of purified salt, 0.50% by weight of ginger, 0.45% by weight of white sugar, 0.10% by weight of L-sodium glutamate, 0.09% by weight of white black pepper and 94.20% by weight of purified water.
