PURPOSE: Provided is a water-based polyurethane composite, from which synthetic leather having excellent texture like that of natural leather is obtained thorough an environmental-friendly process using no solvent. CONSTITUTION: The water-based polyurethane composite comprises a chain-extended product of a water-based polyurethane and 0.1-30 wt% of microparticles having an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 50 micrometers based on the total weight of the composite, wherein the composite has a viscosity of 500-100,000 cps. The water-based polyurethane composite comprises a plurality of fine bubbles. Particularly, the microparticles are silica particles. The water-based polyurethane composite is applied to the fibrous layer of a substrate to a thickness of 0.1-3 mm to form a porous inner layer, thereby providing synthetic leather.
