STERILIZATION WASHING MACHINE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, FOR CONTROLLING DENSITY OF STERILIZATION WATER PROPERLY

PURPOSE: A sterilization washing machine and a control method thereof are provided to sterilize the laundry efficiently, and to prevent pollution of the laundry by regulating the voltage applied to silver plates according to the density of silver ions. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine comprises a sterilization water supply apparatus(304) supplying sterilization water for sterilizing the laundry; a driving unit(302) generating and outputting first voltage and second voltage for deciding the density of sterilization water to the sterilization water supply apparatus; comparators(310,312) deciding the density of sterilization water to be within the predetermined range; and a control unit(306) controlling the driving unit to adjust the density of sterilization water within the predetermined range according to output from the comparators. Silver ions for sterilization is generated through the electrolysis by applying first voltage and second voltage to two silver plates.
