PURPOSE: A bonding device of a display panel is provided to appropriately apply ultraviolet rays to a sealant even if a position of the sealant changes, reduce bonding time by simultaneously applying light to two sealants, and sufficiently harden the sealant. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of light applying units(1-1,1-2) are installed, each having a rod-shaped lamp(1a). A light applying unit moving equipment(4) moves the light applying units in first axial direction. A control unit controls movement of the plurality of light applying units. A work stage(5) is installed to load a display panel(20), wherein the work stage is rotative at 90 deg. in a plane. The control unit moves the plurality of light applying units based on pitches of liquid crystal pictures formed on the display panel, and performs light irradiation to only a part on which a sealant(22) is applied. The control unit rotates the work stage to perform light irradiation to a part of the sealant applied in direction orthogonal to the sealant.
