PURPOSE: A stone support apparatus, a stone support unit, an assembling method of the stone support unit, and a civil engineering structure are provided to support a stone simply or reliably although holding the stone exceeding a predetermined size. CONSTITUTION: A stone support apparatus has a base and band-shaped members(10). The band-shaped members are connected to the base from about the center of an extension direction to the plate surface as elements for connecting a stone(4). The band-shaped member is raised and is deformed via plastic deformation around connection parts with respect to the base. Both ends(10a) of the band-shaped member comprise the connection parts with respect to the stone. A connection hole for connecting with the stone is formed to each end of the band-shaped member.
