PURPOSE: A wireless-appropriate MAC frame transceiving device is provided to determine a maximum MSDU(MAC Service Data Unit) through a negotiation between network devices with regards to MAC frame size by using maximum MAC frame size information, thereby increasing a throughput to the maximum. CONSTITUTION: A MAC SAP(Service Access Point)(410) provides a service so that data can be transmitted/received to/from MAC in a protocol of a LLC layer . An MLME(MAC subLayer Management Entity) SAP(450) transceives a management packet with other network node, broadcasts a self maximum MSDU by using the management packet, and receives a maximum MSDU of other party as a unicast response. An MSDU negotiation module(480) stores and manages a maximum MSDU size obtained by using the MLME SAP(450) with an MAC address of other network node in a destination list(470), and controls a fragmentation threshold according to a transceiving channel state. A fragmentation module(420) divides an MAC frame into various frames according to the fragmentation threshold. A channel state checking module(490) compares a failure rate of a frame transmitted from an ACK(Acknowledgement) checker module(460) with intensity of a packet received from a physical layer(440), and monitors a state of a current transceiving channel.
