摘要

Part IV of this series is a special purpose Handbook for estimating the maximum internal dose to man from radionuclides released to the biosphere. This Handbook, which is to be continuously updated and is to be expandable, lists the pertinent data for all isotopes whose half lives are greater than 12 hours. The first issue is devoted to estimation of the dosage resulting from contamination of agricultural lands as described in the previous parts of the UCRL-50163 series. The Handbook will soon be updated to include the aquatic environments.
