DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRINTING ELECTRICITY FAILURE LIST FROM FACSIMILE TO REDUCE RATE OF RECEIVING ERRORS

PURPOSE: An electricity failure list printing device and method from a facsimile is provided to automatically print the time of the electricity failure when the electricity failure is recovered, after the electricity failure has occurred during document receiving. CONSTITUTION: A first relay(202) is recovered when a main power supply is interrupted due to electricity failure. A first and a second relay contacts(204,208) are switched by interworking with the first replay(202). A power switch(206) provided between the two relay contacts(204,208) is switched according to on and off by a user. An auxiliary power supply(218) is connected to one end of a power line where the first relay contact(204), the power switch(206) and the second relay contact(208) are sequentially connected, and supplies auxiliary power when the main power supply is interrupted due to the electricity failure. A comparator(214) is connected to the other end of the power line, and compares a reference voltage with a voltage supplied through the power line to detect the electricity failure and deliver the failure to a CPU. A condenser(212) connected to the power line between the second replay contact(208) and the comparator(214) in parallel charges power supplied from the auxiliary power supply(218) at the electricity failure, to discharge the charged power to the comparator(214) when the electricity is recovered from the failure.
