PURPOSE: Provided is multiplex PCR(polymerase chain reaction) based method for rapidly detecting 4 kinds of genes(mecA, aac(6')-Ie+aph(2''), aph(3)-IIIa and ant(4')-Ia) which give antibiotic resistance to Staphylococcus strains. Also, provided are PCR primers and a detection kit containing the primers. CONSTITUTION: In the detection antibiotic resistance of Staphylococcus strains, multiplex PCR based method is characterized by using primers which simultaneously detect 4 kinds of genes(mecA, aac(6')-Ie+aph(2''), aph(3)-IIIa and ant(4')-Ia). The primers have nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NO:1-8. Particularly, the primer for detecting mecA has a nucleotide sequence of the SEQ ID NO1-2, the primer for detecting aac(6')-Ie+aph(2'') has a nucleotide sequence of the SEQ ID NO:3-4, the primer for detecting aph(3)-IIIa has a nucleotide sequence of the SEQ ID NO:5-6, and the primer for detecting ant(4')-Ia has a nucleotide sequence of the SEQ ID NO;7-8.
