FIELD: agricultural engineering and production. SUBSTANCE: method involves undercutting soil layers; turning said layers and placing outer layers into furrows formed upon plowing of mid layers, with vertical cutting operation being provided between mid layers before undercutting procedure; lifting and turning layers onto outer untilled layers and moving aside by distance equal to plow body width; after undercutting and turning of outer layers into mid layer furrows, placing first layers into free furrows by backward motion. Plow has frame with symmetrically arranged right-hand and left-hand plow bodies, four pushers and disk knife. Height adjustable pushers are arranged in two rows so that intersection point of blade directions of first row pushers is positioned forward of right-hand and left-hand plow bodies and of second row pushers rearward of said plow bodies. Disk knife has adjustable height, so its penetration depth is variable within the range of (0.6-1.0)a, where a is plowing depth. Paired plow body has helical moldboards and right-hand and left-hand plow bodies have semi-digger moldboards. EFFECT: reduced power consumption and improved quality of soil tillage. 3 cl, 6 dwg
