FIELD: polymer materials.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to starch-incompatible hydrophobic-nature polymers containing, as filler, starch complexes in the form of very small-size particles. These particles, dispersed in polymer matrix, are characterized by average-number size below 1 mcm and water solubility at 100оС below 20% by weight. Complex is bound to polymer matrix with the aid of coupling agent carrying groups compatible both with matrix and with starch complexes. Preparation procedure comprises mixing, in molten state or under hot plasticizing conditions, starch-polymer complex with hydrophobic polymer in presence of coupling agents. In another embodiment, starch-polymer complex is mixed with rubber at treatment temperature between 140 and 160оС in presence of coupling agent.
