The table legs (3) which are mounted for pivotal movement on the tabletop or a support frame (2) thereof are each formed by two table leg elements (3', 3'') each of which is mounted at different pivotal points. When not in use the table leg elements fold up against the tabletop and when in use the table leg elements are folded down and fixed relative to each other. The first table leg element can be mounted on the top side of the table top and the second element on the underneath.
