Removing organochlorine biocides from surface layers of objects made of e.g. wood, textiles or leather involves treatment with composition containing fat releaser, surfactant and water miscible solvent
Decontamination of an organochlorine-contaminated organic object, especially of wood, textile fibers or leather involves (1) conventionally measuring the contaminant intensity; (2) contacting the surface of the object with an appropriate washing system containing a fat releaser, a surfactant and a water-miscible solvent, and (3) introducing water onto the surface to form an emulsion which is then removed.
