In a process to use pre-used fat and grease as diesel motor fuel, the fuel is filtered, washed with water, dried and stored at 30-100degreesC under pure nitrogen. The fuel is introduced to the diesel engine by injection at 60-80degreesC. The temperature for transport and storage is 35-45degreesC. Fuel is injected at 60-80degreesC. Storage of the fuel at higher temperatures is limited to 1 to 2 hours. Fuel which has been stored at higher temperatures is not subsequently mixed with fuel which has been stored at lower temperatures.
