An arrangement for the dosed application of highly viscous or fluid material, especially adhesive, comprises a filling valve (10) and a dosing unit (11) with an inlet valve (24,27). The valves are connected so the inlet valve is lifted from its valve seat when the filling valve conical section (21) is raised. The valve has a pot shaped front extension with a surrounding elastic ring. The ring is made of an elastomer. An arrangement for the dosed application of highly viscous or fluid material, especially adhesive, comprises a filling valve (10) and a dosing unit (11) with an inlet valve (24,27). The valves are connected so the inlet valve is lifted from its valve seat when the filling valve conical section (21) is raised. The inlet valve body has a partially conical mantle surface (25) which seals against the valve seat surface when the valve is closed. The valve also has a pot shaped front extension with a surrounding elastic ring. The ring rests against the pot shaped extension when the filling valve is connected to the dosing unit. The ring is made of an elastomer, especially acryl nitrile butadiene rubber, butyl rubber, styrol butadiene rubber, polyurethane, silicone rubber, a fluoroelastomer or a combination of these materials. A wire is used to clean the valve body end faces.
