A barrier component (6) is arranged in or on the blood plasma transfer channel (3), penetrating an end face. This holds back cellular components from the separation membrane (2). The barrier reduces the open cross section of the transfer channel and is formed by a fluid-tight material. It has increased separation efficiency in comparison with the membrane. It is at right angles, or is inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the transfer channel. It closes of the end face of the separation membrane in the transfer channel direction. A transport membrane (5) is provided. This is covered by the separation membrane and fully fills the area of the transfer channel. Further details of construction are provided. Chromatographic separation is achieved.
