One of two temperature sensors (2) is located at the flow inlet of an evaporator (1). The other sensor (3) is located at the middle of the evaporator. When the detected temperature at the middle of the evaporator is lower than adjustable critical temperature, or when the temperature difference between the inlet and the middle is lower than an adjustable set value, the defrosting process is initiated.
