One vertical post (1) is anchored, detachably or fixed, at one of its ends in the ground (5). A shade (3) is provided which can be horizontally unrolled. The shade, in its rolled-out state, is fixed on a counter bearing (2), and can be rolled or unrolled about the post or about an axis which is parallel to the post. The post is formed as a hollow housing which accommodates the rolled-in window shade.
