A control device activates/regulates a gear speed change modulator (GSCM) so that a gearshift operation to switch over a set of target speed gear changes into an engaged state repeats itself. Gearshift position (GP) for a speed change mechanism is activated through the GSCM's drive so that the GP functions as a target shift position after speed change conditions occur and a clutch is disengaged.
