The sun blind has a sun blind surface and an associated drive, coupled to a setting control, for adjustment of the sun blind in dependence on a number of input values provided by a sensor device (10), for automatic matching to the incident light. The setting control uses a stored program held in a memory for adjusting the blind surface as a function of the time of day, the sun intensity and/or the sun direction, with individual entry of the input values.
