In this case, the loading plant for loading and unloading loads comprises at least one mobile harbor crane (5), whose load jib extends into the area of at least one transfer point (6) which is provided within a container storage facility (7) consisting of a number of storage modules (9, 9.1, 9.2) with a number of container rows that depends on the width of the module, and forms an interface between the mobile harbor crane (5) and the storage modules (9, 9.1, 9.2) of the container storage facility (7).
