Method for eliminating interference from haemolysis in the analysis of a medical sample comprises determining the degree of haemolysis (DH) of the sample by inducing and measuring a pre-reaction of a component in the sample before performing the main (analytical) reaction, and correcting the result of the main reaction on the basis of the correlation between the DH and the level of interference.
