A rod (1) is added to the lower part of the tilter with a hole added to the upper part where the rod slides. Once the two parts are assembled, an adjustable stop (5) is fixed on the part of the rod passing beyond the upper part of the tilter. A lever (3) located on the tilter upper part enables the hooking or unhooking of the lower part. When it is unhooked, it slides along the spindle (6) until it meets the stop. By displacing the stop on the rod the fall height of the lower part can be adjusted and therefore the spacing of the cymbals (7) can be adjusted.
