The pendulum has a central axis (2) fitted with a guiding arm (15) and a selector arm (3) with a spring loaded (5) ball (4) to locate it within a crown (6). The crown has grooves for the ball and pins to engage with two half spheres (1) made from a ceramic material and coated in gold. The pendulum is supported by an arch (7) with a sliding attachment (8) to a gold suspension chain (11) with magnetized steel elements (12)
