The present invention relates to a method of biomechanical simulation of a set of bone joints of a patient, in particular of the spine, comprising a step of recording a three-dimensional digital model represented at least in part by rigid bodies connected by joints, in a reference position; a step of personalizing the geometry of the model with data specific to a patient in said reference position; a step of personalizing said digital model by particularizing the interaction parameters [of rigidity] of each of the articulations connecting said rigid bodies as a function of the characteristics observed on the patient; characterized in that the step of particularization of the interaction parameters consists in acquiring the positions in space of at least part of the rigid bodies, and in carrying out an interpolation to determine the calculated position of the other rigid bodies in order to construct a digital table comprising the relative positions of each of the rigid bodies; exert at least one determined constraint on the patient and acquire information on the general position of equilibrium resulting from the patient [other than the reference position]; determine analytical functions making it possible to approximate the interaction parameters in order to reproduce the measured relative positions, this for each pair of rigid bodies.
